Hello, welcome to our web-site. We enjoy working with local Appalachian hardwoods with an occasional exotic wood for accents. Most of my furniture includes smaller tables, benches and boxes. My turnings vary in size from 30 inch diameters to miniature?  My wife, Susan, has recently started creating unique boxes from my scraps….really classy.

Wood is a really great media. Mother Nature always has a surprise waiting in every tree. Most of these surprises are pleasant: spectacular figuring, subtle color changes and interesting knots. There are also challenges: splits, voids and nasty knots.
